Interim Commercial Legal Counsel

Our client is a leading global supply chain management company based in the Amsterdam area. The global head office legal team adds value by anticipating problems and identifying legal issues early, giving practical advice to the business, developing innovative solutions to disputes and problems that are global-oriented and cost-effective.

Due to an increase of requests for legal assistance from the Global Procurement department and the maternity leave of the Senior Commercial Legal Counsel we are looking for an Interim Commercial Legal Counsel.

You will operate in close contact with the Legal Director of the global head office legal team. You will be in direct contact with the business, mainly the Global Procurement and Information Systems & Services department. You will draft and review general commercial contracts, for example (frame) supplier agreements and license agreements. You will also conduct and support negotiations and advise the business. Our client expects you to be commercially oriented without losing sight of legal risks and expects you to be able to establish relationships quickly.

Profiel

fully-qualified interim-lawyer with approximately 6-12 years of working experience

solid experience in commercial law within an international context

excellent communication skills

fluent in English, good negotiating and drafting skills

Propositie

starting as of the end of September, for approximately 1-1.5 months, 1 day a week and as of November 2010 until May 2011, 4-5 days a week
