The Group’s Holding company, Dockwise Ltd., is located in Breda. Operating companies are Dockwise Shipping B.V., Offshore Kinematics Inc., Ocean Dynamics LLC and Dockwise Yacht Transport. The main commercial offices outside of the Breda office are located in Houston, Shanghai, Busan, Singapore, Rio de Janeiro, Moscow and Perth and the company also has a network of dedicated commercial agents in other parts of the world.

Dockwise is a successful and growing company. Currently, we are looking for a Legal Counsel.

You are part of the solid Legal Affairs Department. You participate in negotiations and closing contracts all over the world. Furthermore, you advise throughout Dockwise on a broad range of legal issues, focusing on international contract law, maritime and transport law and insurance law. If necessary, you will manage and co-coordinate external advisors. Frequent international travel will be required.

Profiel

approximately 5 years experience as a commercial lawyer

experience with international contract law, preferably in shipping

international and business oriented focus

strong communication skills and a no-nonsense, hands-on attitude

fluent in English and Dutch
