Interim Legal Counsel

transport law, commercial contracts & process optimisation
Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will advise on legal issues related to international transport and logistics, among which road transport and maritime transportation activities. If requested, you wil support in drafting and negotiating agreements. In addition, you will contribute to the further development and optimisation of internal (legal) processes and procedures.
The role combines legal advisory work with process improvement initiatives and offers significant exposure to an international business environment.
Profiel
- Interim role for qualified lawyer or legal counsel
- preferably some experience with logistics, transportation and warehousing issues
- (basic) knowledge and understanding of transport law
- experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- experience within an international business environment or international clients
- fluent in English, both written and verbal, living in The Netherlands
Propositie
- opportunity to support an international logistics organisation with a global footprint
- broad role covering transport law, commercial contracts and legal operations/processes
- member of a compact and international legal team
- opportunity to contribute to the further professionalisation of (legal) processes
- start immediately or as soon as possible for several days per week depending on availability
- project for at least six months, potentially extending to approximately one year
- office located in the Hague region, hybrid working possible to some extend
